Lost Got Found, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in March 2017. When Founder, Emily Torchiana, was silently struggling in high school, she felt "lost" and believed that she had no purpose. But, once she reached out for help, she realized there is hope and support. She finally felt that she "got found." Now, we educate high school students with our Mental Health Toolkit, hoping they will realize that it can get better and they can be get found, too.
Lost Got Found is dedicated to eliminating the negative stigma surrounding mental health. Our organization exists to educate and inform students about mental illness and suicide prevention through our curriculum. We encourage individuals who have been affected by mental illness and suicide to share their stories and connect with others.
